Told you I was gonna ask some.  I just finished reading all  the articles on using your fish finder. I still have one question.  What vantage point am I looking from?  My finders scroll from right to left.   Is the picture being presented to me a side to side view or front to back view?  :-[  Once ya'll clear this up for me, I've got to turn off those little fish symbols.  Told ya I was less than informed about this stuff.  

You are loocking directly below the transducer.  On the right edge of your screen is what is below the transducer at that moment.  Everything you see scrolling to the left is historical, but dose help you understand what's down there.
