I've been reading online i could get Ipilot on my power drive v1 by switching the control board to v2 but the control board says compatible with powerdrives 2007-present mine is a 2005 will it work any body ever have experience

Sell your V1 and Get the V2

Probably won't work, but contact MinnKota to verify. I converted mine and it was easy enough, but it was a 2015.

Sorta can't contact minn kota because they will refuse to tell you because they want you to buy a new one alot of people did what I'm trying to do but no one states the year of there v1. I did read up that it works for 2001-2007 models only I guess I'd have to just risk it and buy the board 

Could always sell the board if it doesn't work and recoup some of the money...or just buy a v2 like slonezp mentioned.

Does anyone know where to find the I Pilot link for the powerdrive v2.  It is discontinued on minn kotas site and I am not able to find one anywhere.
