Stolen Trailer Tires

Featured Replies

I met my neighbor walking his dog yesterday afternoon and I asked him what he did with his boat as it was on longer stored in the field by his house.

He told me that someone had come by and stolen the spare trailer tire.

So today I removed the spare from my boat trailer in my driveway and from my trailer in the field by my house.

I never thought anyone would steal a boat trailer tire.  Engine props, yes, but a spare trailer tire?

Sorry state of affairs.

that sucks, people will steal anything these days. But on my spare i have the lugnuts that need the special key to unlock, and if they steal it from that then i guess they needed it more than i did

Someone slashed one of my trailer tires about a year ago.  The dog gone thing had less than 100 miles on it.   >:)

That stinks, back in the fall one of the local marina's had three Sportfishing boats tolen in a month. All of them were run aground at the mouth of the creek in the intercoastal waterway. One boat sustained over 10 grand in motor damage.

If they want my spare, they're welcome to it.  All I ask is that they leave the nuts.

I've seen better looking tires on 60 year old cars.   :-/

It depends on how you mount your spare tire, but there is locks for your spare tire.

What has this world come to? If someone needs something that bad all they would need to do is ask me. I would prefer give someone something than have it stolen, guess I'm just that guy

I got some of these for mine, they cost 10-15. very versitile
