Berkley Powerbait Shaky Snake Opinions/Experiences

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Picked up several packs of these on sale and was wondering what everyone's experience or opinions of them are, don't hear much about them. Haven't had a chance to test them and I'm thinking about fishing them on a shakey head or neko rig. Does the tail stand up or does it sink to the bottom? If it stands up I may have just have what I am looking for. Thanks for any info.

I have a few packs myself. Pumpkin seed and black. I've split shot rigged and slider fished them for River smallies and have caught fish. I believe in Berkley Power Worms and have fished a few styles for many years. Maybe not my favorite worm mfg. but up near the top.

If they were not Berkley or Power Worm I would not have bought them. I bought them to throw something slightly different and being a PW I had a pretty good idea they would work.

IMHO, ANY worm can be fished T rig, Carolina, Neko, Wacky, Dropshot, etc.--depending on the situation.  Why limit your choice?
