I'm thinking about picking up some more Revo STX's. I really liked the Gen 3, but haven't thrown around the Gen 4. Has anyone fished with both? Which do you prefer? I don't want to assume that the Gen 4 is automatically a better reel--are there any considerable differences between the two generations.

    Long Answer the Gen 4 STX It have a lot of updated parts. Personally it palms better in my hand than a gen 3 and it is smoother. When it comes down to features I am not totally 100% convinced the STX is a better option then the SX. The Gen 4 STX comes with Aluminum side plates beefier centrifugal brakes and I read it is saltwater ready.
