Im going to Lake Tahoe in a few days, specifically the Nevada side southern shore. I know there are some bass, several species of trout and salmon in the lake but thats about it. What tackle should I bring, what do bass bite this time of year, and whats my best bet to catch some of the other fish?

Tahoe is not known as a bass lake. Although a few are caught, not many people fish for them. The four main species fished for are kokanee salmon, brown trout, lake trout (mackinaw) and rainbows. A couple of good areas to fish from the bank are the Tahoe Keys, Kings beach and Cave Rock.  Booking one of the charters would be a good idea.
