Fishing Long Pine Run Reservoir in Pennsylvania

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, I’m planning on bass fishing Long Pine Run Reservoir in the michaux state forest in Pennsylvania this coming week. I was wondering if anyone had fished it before or had any hints.

I’ve been kayaking there before and the water is crystal clear and gets down to 100’ deep in the middle.

Like to help ya but that's a lake I've never fished before. But if you get a chance, Codorus is a good lake with camping lakeside.

It can be a bear, but there's good fish in it. It will pay great dividends if you have a graph, there's some good drop offs, humps, stump fields, and channels. Crazy thing, we caught some Smallies there this Spring. Brian.

Thanks guys. I’ll have to check out Codorus too. Are there any other good places around there to fish. I’ll be in town there for a week right beside Caledonia state park.

very late on this but I spent a lot of nights this past summer at long pine run. The water is extremely clear for our area, and a pair of good sunglasses goes a long way. As far as my findings went, the lake is good for numbers. I had nights where I lost track, catching them mostly on senkos and the occasional jig bite. Just have to keep it small and natural.
