What type of screws should i use to fasten down my pieces of carpeted plywood? I'm trying to keep the screws from going through the carpet and just leaving a hole( if you know what i'm saying

Trust me, if you don't, a future owner in 20 years or so will hate you with a passion.  Trust me.  (I am a future owner of many homebrew modifications in boats - kinda scary what some people do)

I used some screws with the finish washer today on my boat.  They work great.  Better with the washer, a screw by itself twists the carpet as it touches down.  Yeah, forget about what I said in the previous post:)
