HOOK MY STEERING UP,  ADDING ANOTHER SEAT BY THE GASS TANK TO BALANCE IT WHILE FISHING. ENGINE. EVENTUALLY PUTTING NEW CARPET DOWN I ALSO ADDED A HUMMINBIRD FISH FINDER. MAYBE SOME STORAGE COMPARTMEANTS

What size engine is on your boat now.  It looked to be a old 350 to 400 mercury.  If it still running strong and pushed the boat well I'd keep it.

Yeah, even though its and old motor, those are strong running engines.  I had a 20hp on my boat when I bought and it ran very well for several years.   That is until it died on me.   :'(   Hey, my boat is similar and I paid $800 for mine.   ;D      Anyho, put a deck in the back and some new carpet she is going to look good!  Congrats and good luck with your project.

Make and year?? Looks like a killer deal for $800.00!!! Hope I can find something that nice for that much when I get back to Indiana!!

it has a mercury 6hp yeah i love it it pushes it about 20mph the deck deal is a good idea its a sea star

good luck on the project it makes catching fish that much sweeter whe your fishing from something you worked on yourself

Just wondering why you want to put another seat in? Do you want another permanant seat?

I have a 16ft with a very similar layout.  Space is limited and I use a fold up camping chair for the area by the gas tank.  When I need it i unfold it. it folds up and virtually takes up no room when not in use and doesn't get in the way.  Just an idea.  Nice rig.  What a steal
