Hello, I just bought a Daiwa Fuego Lt 2500 and I am having top heavy line lay.  I know that I need to add a washer, but other reels that I had to either remove and or add it was straight forward.  Remove or add them.  On this reel theres a metal ring above the red washer that is the same size as the spare washers but how do I add it.  Can I unscrew that top off? Embarrassed to say I don't know what to do.

Have you ever found a solution? I’m having the same problem. Can’t seem to figure out how to get that bearing off

Can’t you just add them directly to the spool shaft? In the OP photo there’s a washer on top of the bearing
