Seen a video on youtube for a new Fenwick HMG travel rod. I'm looking to buy a few rods to keep in the car while traveling and have been pleased with the few HMG's I've fished with in the past. Anyone out there tried one of these travel rods yet?

Nope. Not used the travel rod, but like you I enjoy the HMG rods I have. I think you should buy one of each model and give us a review. :teeth:

I'm also interested in hearing more about these. I gather this is something of a replacement for the discontinued Fenwick Methods Travel rod, which I know had a some fans, but was also more expensive. When it was discontinued, the clearance stock went really fast, and I missed my chance...
