What weight shaky head Jig for stream?

Featured Replies

The stream I fish averages 1’-2’ deep with a few deeper(5’) holes in it. What weight shakyhead Jig would you recommend?

Thankyou

It also depends on the current the stream experiences. You won't want to go too heavy because you'll inevitably snag on rocks. I'd recommend anywhere in the range of 1/16-3/16oz. Hope this helps.

It helps a lot. Thankyou North E97. I’ll buy each of those sizes. Have a great Sunday man!

i use 3/16 the most if fishing in rivers and streams. big bite baits has a round stand up that is amazing and will roll out of hole and snags easy. also if the current is movin ill use a 1/8 to a texas rig 5/16.
