Greetins All,

I have a new boat that came with a Cuda 168. I currently also have a Hummingbird 27 that I'm thinking of mounting up front.

the Cuda is in the back of the boat and I am thinking of replacing it with either a Eagle 320c or maybe a Lowrance x67c.

first question is are these 2 tranducers compatible? Can I just replace the cuda with either one with out remounting the transducer?

they appear to have the same stats?

Second question - If I go with the Lowrance should I get another lowrance model to replace the hummingbird (hopefully color) and network them? will x67c work on the lowrance net?

The boat is a smokercraft v-hull and will be used for Bass fishing, trolling for trout/salmon and other species. Freshwater only.

So the rear unit will be used while trolling/at speed for depth.

The unit up front's transducer will be attached to the Trolling Motor and the rear is already mounted. I am not adversed to upgrading/purchasing new units. Just hoping to salvage some current installation holes/wiring if possible.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I appreciate your input and Thanks in Advance

Wayne

Looking for advice

Don't know for sure about wether they are compatible but I do know that Eagle and Cuda are the same.  I would try to contact the company and get someone there that is in the know.  If the pins are the same I would almost bet it will work.  If you are planning to upgrade any way you don't have anything to lose by trying.
