Sea Eagle inflatable (SE9) modifications

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any information or links to sites with information regarding modifications you can make to these inflatable boats?  I'm debating whether to get one or not and being able to make the floorboards and motormount myself would pretty much decide for me, seeing as how paying ~$200 for some plywood is something I can't reason to myself.

Long Mike would be the one to see about this, but I believe I read that he's on a trip and won't be back for a while and his images he posted in another thread have all been deleted from the image host.  Google searches don't help much, either.

I'd also like to add those little wheels/dolly Long Mike has on his boat.

I have one and I bought it with the fisherman's dream package so the floorboards were included.  I did add a depthfinder (mounted the transducer on the trolling motor), cup holders, and an anchor.

Hey, do you think it'd work to just cut some plywood sheets to size and shape and place in there or does it have to be the EXACT dimensions for whatever reason?  Also, what's the thickness on those 1/2 inch, 5/8?

Just got back from Lake Okhissa and bagged my personal best largemouth on a spinnerbait so I'm rearing to go.

Irrelevant, just got back into town this evening and I'm beat.  I made all the boards myself for about $35.00.  PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send you some drawings and photos after I get some much needed rest.
