I’m learning that bank fishing large lakes is challenging to say the least. Lake Pinchot and Lake Redman seemingly require a boat to catch a lot of fish. Anyone know of any ponds in the general area?

Check out Google Earth or Google Maps for some excellent recon opportunities 

As @BigBassLoveSenkos said google maps is great you just grab a 12 pack and just start looking and marking ponds.  Then one day travel to those ponds and scout them out and if your lucky you may see a farmer or someone who may know who to contact about fishing and just ask. 

 

You'll find places you never knew were there. I am in South Hanover and feel the pain but haven't had a chance yet to take my advice past checking google maps..lol but worked in Baltimore so i am sure it will work in this area
