Hey guys I found this trolling motor for sale and i'm in the market for a new one. Has anybody used this motor before or one close to it. It is going to go on a 16' aluminum boat with a 35hp engine on the back. My old motor was a 28lb thrust and had plenty of power for my small light weight boat. How is the performance and steering of this model.

Its a minkota power drive. with a quick release bracket. I have one on my 14 footer. mine is 52#. its ok. I like a cable steer motor over a power steer. The mk is a power steer. lots of guys like it. I am not in that group. the power steer is just slower than the cable steer.
