Falcon has a series in Bucoo, Lowrider, and Cara called the Finesse Jig rod in 6'10" Medium Heavy Moderate Fast. I'm thinking about pairing a Bucoo up with an 8 speed SLX MGL. 

For your specific question regarding 3/8oz finesse jigs. I would recommend either an 843c MBR or 853c JWR loomis rod. I throw a 1/4 and 3/8oz jig on these rods all the time, and I can't think of  better rods for the application. I use braid to 12 or 15lb a leader depending on the cover.

Take a look at the Shimano Expride 7,2 MH.

That seems like a perfect rating for finesse jigs as they typically have a lighter wire hook. Don’t need as much power to drive hook home.
