outrigger on a canoe?

Featured Replies

anyone ever put an outrigger on a canoe before? sold my boat 6 years ago and havent fished since, so i got a canoe with 40lb trolling motor. moves ok, but i usually go out with my dad, and hes easy 300lbs. makes for a pretty unstable ride. thought making a EZ attach outrigger might help, but it does start to take away from the simplicity of the canoe. thougths?

NEVER sell your boat!

Avid is the guy to talk to about the outriggers.  He uses them and loves them.

I like Chatterbaits too!  ;) Can't help you with your canoe...
