How do you make a live well for an Aluminum V-Hull boat?

Featured Replies

I have a Ark Traveler V-hull aluminum boat that I am fixin' up.  I am currently fixing the hull and about to start decking the boat.  I want to install a live well when I fix it up.  Does anyone have ideas for making one and what size you need? ;D

I used a cooler and removed the lid.  Made a frame with aluminum angle for it to sit in so it was level with the deck bracing.  Then I used angle on the top between the deck bracing to hold it in.  I don't think I have any pictures specifically of the livewell setup in my share-a-project in my signature below.  I would use a 70 to 100qt cooler.
