Alligator Alley MM41

Met Rick and ran out to MM41.  Ran west, then up to the north canal and east to the deep holes.  Rick started with a HB Frog and had a few hit and misses back in the pads.  I went with a Chatterbait slow rolling and had bites but did not feel like bass.  Soon I had a big hit and the bait was gone.  It sliced right through the 15 pound floro.  Then went to a U-Tail and caught a few as it dropped off the ledge.  Things slowed until the wind picked up and then we were both catching some on plastics although most were small.  We also fished the south canal all the way to the weir and the south side was more productive.  We finished with 16 bass a few Oscars, several mudfish, and rock bass.  The weather could not have been more pleasant then Saturday.  Just great to live in south Florida.

Ill chime in Geo.  I fished Holiday L67 Sunday and caught a solid number of fish with the biggest going about 3lbs on hb frog and flukes.  Fished South of number 2 up to #4.  The action was steady but not great.

I used to fish L67 a lot from the 41 side.  From US 41 I would run up L67 to the cuts in the three pines area.  These cuts always produced big time.  It was just too far a run from Holiday.  Have a great Holiday Season.

I used to launch on US41 as well to fish 3 Pines...how is the vehicle security there nowadays?

I don't know. I have not been out there in quite some time.  Never knew there was a problem parking along 41 out there.  I used to fish little 67 also.
