G Loomis Shaky Head Spinning Rod 822S

My local dealer recently told me that G Loomis has dropped the 822S shaky head spinning rod from their GLX line.  I couldn't believe that so I checked the G Loomis website and I could not find it either.  They still show the 823S, but that is all.

Does anyone know what has happened with the rod?  If this is true then they must not have had good sales or they had a problem with that model.

I am looking to purchase one of these but I don't want to buy into a problem.
