jig idea

Featured Replies

first off ive never caught one on a jig yet but im workin on that, last night i was toying with some torn up ribbit frogs an put it on my jig (similar color) as a trailor since they do it with craws. do yall think this will work and catch fish or just a waste of time?

thanks all, redneckriot27

i've seen guys use frogs as trailers while swimming a jig.  Try that out.

Your will slow down your fall rate with that as a trailer.

If you haven't caught any fish on a jig,I would keep it simple and go with a chunk or a twin tailed grub.On the other hand,I bet the Ribbit would work for some application.

I've thought the same thing or maybe just Texas rigging a Ribbit, nothing wrong with slowing down a jigs rate of fall.

like we all say never be scared to try something and if it works then tell us so we can try it too. Nothing is not worth trying in bass fishing
