Old Federal Duck Stamp

Featured Replies

Hey guys! Back in 1969 when I got out of the Navy, I immediately went to the town hall and bought my hunting & fishing license - naturally! At the same time I bought a duck stamp. Never used it.....just figured I would. Tucked it away and low & behold if I didn't just come across this pristine snapshot of history. It's in a plastic bag and in absolutely mint condition - NO signature on face.

I know it's worth a few bucks by searching online, but what I need to know is, now that I realize what I have, how do I go about finding a collector willing to purchase it from me? Here's what the net is saying about it:

If anyone can give me some direction as to how to sell this stamp, it would be appreciated. Hate to see it go to waste. Thanks Folks!

I do not understand your response? Is that a web site or what?

I know little about the collector/resale market for duck stamps ....but I just did a bit of googling and it looks like http://www.shduck.com is something of a big player in buying and selling duck stamps.  If it were me, I'd talk with them.
