Guys (and gals) ,  if you can help me out with this i'd appreciate it.

Just trying to get a figure on the worth of a boat but i dont have pics to show you unfortunately.

1997 17.6 ' Basstracker, 40 hp merc with 30 hrs , power trim.  40# thrust minn kota trolling motor, lowrance fishfinder (not sure of model), 1 Battery and trailer (trailer in fantastic shape, spare tire to).

Boat is in extremely clean shape. Carpet is very nice, lots of storage,  motor cranks right up, no problems...I never woulda guessed it was 11 years old.

What do ya think?  Estimates?   thanks

Man, quite a bit. A pic would be nice. I'd go from 5,000-8,000. Thats a big range but again, we need a pic and info on engine compression etc.

I would say between $3,500.00 and $4,500.00.

Here's a similar boat I found. Similar to the one you described. 5,700, so my initial estimate was a bit high.

Great thanks!  thanks for all the estimates - probably gonna pick this up (i mean - its not like its risky to spend a bunch of money in this day and age but,  gotta live!),  then i can post a pic!  

I think Jimzee's estimates are pretty much right on with $4500 being the most I'd personally pay for that particular setup that's that old. I saw nearly the identical setup here in Diego and they wanted $2700 for it but it needed to have some fixes done on the bottom of the hull.
