Rod storage

Featured Replies

So I have an older Cajun fish & ski. As most know Fish & ski boats have limited storage. It doesn’t have a rod locker but I’m in the process of adding one so that solves that problem.

The second issue is the front deck is small. When I’m fishing, and have several rods out, they will clutter the deck. Some of my rods will have to hang over the edge because the deck is small. Have any of you guys found a solution to help?

I’ve thought about adding a vertical rod holder but I figured they would get in the way when casting.

You are right verticle rods get in the way unless you fish from a kayak!

You may want to get some rod flotation butt ends if you clutter the front deck.

Fish n ski are a family boat, good luck with your project.

I keep my longer swimbait rods in the passenger seat side od the boat laid down with a Velcro strap out of the way and go back to get 1 when needed.
