Do the Humminbird units need a fuse? Do they come with a fuse and fuse holder like the Lowrance units?

    It’s not required to run a fuse, but to be safe a 5 amp fuse won’t hurt anything. Easy to find one at a local auto parts store and use connectors with heat shrink.

    A fuse is a safety. If you pop a fuse there’s a reason. Without a fuse if there’s a short somewhere you could have a fire. Fire bad
