Lake Ontelaunee...news to me

Featured Replies

Been fishing this lake for years and just found out that the lake holds alewives and golden shiners. Never seen a one. Probly out in the middle. Found this out from a net survey from 2003. I know its an old survey, but still. Just a surprise to me. Just thought bluegill and perch chubs and bugs were about the only forage for that lake. Just thought id share. I like finding new stuff out. Now i can add white to my lure arsenal for that lake. LoL??

Didn't know that either. Fished it about 10 times in the last decade and never really cared to fish it consistently. The fact that you can't put a boat on the lake makes it kind of a waste of travel time for me.
