I bought my boat 2 years ago It has 1980 mercury 40 hp. on it. Last year I ran real good at first then towards the end of summer I noticed I wasn't going as fast. I was down to 15 mph top speed. So far I changed the plugs and changed the fluids in the lower unit. This year It's still running slow. I might take it to a mechnic, But I wanna see what you guys think?

    no, It's a old boat no tach just speedometer. I have a 16' tri-hull nothing special, but It floats
