Quick question for those who own the Daiwa Laguna HS100 baitcaster. Is it suppose to kinda noisey?  Just bought it used cheap recently. have oiled the reel up but it still has noise to it. Also i tried throwing a shallow crankbait with it but it was pretty hard to reel in, however it reels and spins fine out of water. I don't know much about repairing reels so any help would be appreciated. Just messing around with it, If I tighten the spool tensioner all the way it makes it pretty hard to reel

I have the left handed version and mine is very smooth. If you tighten the tension knob too much, it will be hard to spin the spool. You might have some dirty bearings/gears in side. Watch some youtube vids on how to take a reel apart and go slowly.
