So I have made up a few and I don't know if my hook eye is too small or if the swivel is too big but I don't like the range of motion of the hook compared to the VMC rigs.  Is anybody happy with their homemade rig?  What brand hook are you using and what size swivel?  Thanks for any advice.   

Get some cylinder weights, a couple split rings and make a jika rig.  Same thing as the Tokyo rig.

Try this with an oval split ring

Gamakatsu makes a ringed superline hook that works great for jika rigs... if you don't mind the heavier hook. Might work for what your doing.
