Another Tollingmotor question

I acutally have 2 questions.

1.  I accidently put mixed to much oil in my gas about 16 oz., will that be a problem for my 1980 Johnson Javlin.  

2.  I have a 1994 Evinrude Tollingmotor that came with my 1980 ranger bass boat.  It plugs into the front with what looks like a house outlit and when I took the boat out for the first time, the TM was working opposite.  When in reverse I would go forward and in Forward I would go in reverse.  I assume that the wires are crossed, But my question is when a TM is in reverse does the prop spin the opposite way then it does when in forward.

Any info would be great.
