Ok so last year rapala introduced the ripstop.  I bought one and did OK with it.  However, it was such a small jerkbait that I had some trouble casting it on a bait caster.  Well this year they introduced a bigger one (and heavier), which would obviously mean it should be easier to use with a bait caster.  Has anyone tried the newer, bigger version yet?  I assume its easier to cast than the smaller one with a bait caster.

New one is 1/2 oz. You shouldn't have issues casting it.  

 

1/4 oz with a trained thumb is doable.
