Does anyone have any experience with the Shimano SLX rod? I have an SLX reel and it's pretty good, its very similar to the Curado K. I have heard great things about the SLX rod. My "go-to" $100 rod is a Dobyns Fury, which I am in love with. I have heard some say that the SLX is a little better than the Fury, but I don't know. I haven't been able to hold an SLX yet, so I can't compare it to the Fury. If anyone has used the SLX please let me know.

I've heard good things about it too, but the selections are so minimal that when I was browsing them I found that none of them fit the bill for anything I needed. 

I held one at a fishing show last weekend, the EVA foam felt nice, very buttoned down design and a much narrower handle than the fury. A little lighter too. Never fished one, I saw 3 casting and 3 spinning models.
