New Boat!!  14' Sears Gamefisher Jon Boat.  I'm psyched!!

Featured Replies

Hey all, picked up a 14' Jon-Boat today.  I've owned a 17' HydraSport bass boat some years back, but sold it when we moved north.  I wanted something cheap and to be able to get back in spots I wouldn't dare take a brand new bass boat.  It is a nice boat, no patching of any kind and the bottom has no scrapes or dents.  Belonged to an older man for about 20 years.  Boat came with carpet, two high back folding seats, two anchors - a 15 lb. and a 20lb. brand new, various anchor and tie ropes, a Bottom Line fishin buddy fish finder, and 3 trolling motors.  Two older minn-kota's- 30 lb thrust for both and a 6 month old 55 lb. thrust Minn Kota Endura as well as a 6month old deep cycle marine battery. Also came on a fairly nice trailer.  Took it home for $700 bucks.  Just sharing my new excitement to get off the banks again and finally fish some offshore structure!!  Hope to add some decks and storage in the future with yalls help!  The guy even threw in 3 lifejackets, 3 oars, and a brand new NET!!   ;D

Don't have the digital here at the house but may be able to get some with a camera phone for now.  Can't wait to fish it a few times and then start the project!!

Thanks everyone.  Just got back from trout fishing the Williams River in West Virginia.  Had a blast, but it's good to be home so I can start fishing with the new boat.  I will probably fish it for awhile and then tear into it later this month hopefully.  Looking forward to it thats for sure!

Congratulations on the new boat!! Sounds like you got a pretty sweet deal too:o)
