I may find myself with a few days and some free time in Edenton next weekend.  Wife's on business and hinted that maybe I should tag along.

I've never been .  I'd have a kayak. 

How's the fishing?  Chowan?  Or maybe the rivers to the Northeast of there?  Is it saltwater?

Should I make my excuses and stay and fish here in the DMV?  I haven't fished anywhere between Chesapeake and New Bern.  Any experience/suggestions for locations/launches, etc would be greatly appreciated.

    only been there a few times. Fish mainly near Holiday Island. There a round about. Not sure of ramps close by there. Not fished it since Oct 2018. Good luck
