Ark rods?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any experience with ark rods? Thinking about possibly trying a couple out and was hoping for some feedback on thoughts and/or opinions. Specifically the Tharp, crankbait and Invoker series

Well I have a sniper and it is the bees knees.  Very light, crisp and sensitive.  I believe they use higher end blanks then their price point because the use lower name components.

I saw those are on sale at tackle warehouse and on the ark website. Which model sniper do you have?

I am also looking for real world reviews.  Have some interest in these as well.  Heard good things.

So have I, with Randall Tharp and Brandon Cobb on their pro staff they have to be pretty nice. I read somewhere that a few people had bought a few ark rods blindly and loved them so I may just take the plunge

I bought the 6'10" MF on sale from TW.  Haven't put a reel on it yet, but will say that it felt good in hand.  Looking forward to fishing it....and to reading some more reviews on Ark rods.

I have the Invoker 7ft.3 Mag MH. I use it mostly for a spinnerbait/buzzbait and plopper rod but it would make a nice bigger walking bait rod like a super spook or sexy dawg.

Sensitivity wise I would put it on par with a Dobyns champion, It would make a good jig rod also.

I really like the reel seat but I think the handle is a touch smaller than most.

It sounds like the choice is pretty clear. Plus you can’t beat a 5 year warranty lol

I've got three Invokers.

You wont regret buying one.

That’s good to know, thanks for the info. Which models do you have?

7'4" MagHvy for flippin, 7'3" MagMH for Frogs, and 7' MH that does just about everything.

I have several Tharp series rods and a couple Invokers.  The Tharp series cannot be beat at the $129 price.   Very nice,  crisp actions,  Fuji guides... and 3 composite models for reaction baits. The Invoker is a little more but adds a few specific actions that aren't available in the Tharp line, and zirconium guides which seem to work really well with braid applications.

I got rid of my Dobyns and switched to Ark
