My girlfriend and I would like to make a bass boat our of a jon boat.  I have been looking at a lot of pictures to get ideas.  I ran across this website that sells a book on how to make a jon boat into a bass boat and I just wanted to know if anyone has used it and if it was very helpful?  I can't post links because I'm new but the website is very easy to find if you just type in jon boat to bass boat in a search engine.

I think I have the book you speak of.  I found it useful but in hind sight I didn't really learn anything new from it that I couldn't readily find on the web for free.  Check out the rigs on here and look at different sites of what other have done.  If you are a handy bunch you will do just fine without the book.  For $20 you can add a few gizmos or get a few good baits.

Plus you can't get feed back from a book like you can on this forum.  Just please search for answers before posting new questions.  Some of this has been covered over and over and is easily found by searching this section.  If you want more direction feel free to PM me.  Would be glad to help.
