I was window shopping some new boats online and was researching the Lund renegades. I couldn’t help but notice that the advertised price on a renegade 1875 was listed with a 75hp merc, but when you look at the specs on the boat it says the min. Hp is 90. I realize they under-power them to keep the listed price lower but it seems silly to me. I know it’s not the end of the world but I just wanted to vent a little. Maybe I’m just jealous because they’re all out of my price range.

A few used ones for sale in this area.  17' are with a 90hp, and the 18 is with the 115.

All manufacturers do that. Nitro is the king of it...
