Livingston?

Featured Replies

Is there a reason than no-one uses Livingston style boats to put decks on?  I have a really small one 7' that is very stable with two people standing up and fishing out of.  I am now looking for a 14' boat to do a small bass boat project with and I am having a hard time finding a jon boat in my area.  In WA everyone wants so much money for small aluminum boats I looked in other states  on craigslist and they are all over and  a lot cheaper.

Bosco,

Livingstons are kind of an anomaly.   They are probably the most stable boat I have ever been fishing in.  However, they are fiberglass, single walled construction,  at least the smaller ones I have been in are.  Difficult to do mods on.  However, I would not hesitate to use one or buy one for fishing out of.
