28 April 2019 ~ Sun, Wind & a 6 lb. Brown Bass (video)

Spent what ended being a fairly windy & brisky day on Lake Menderchuck.  Morning started of flat calm and I was throwing a small swimbait all over the lake but there was virtually no bites to be found.  Once the wind came on, I started presenting an assortment of jerkbaits over a flat in 6-12 of water, hoping a few fatties would let me know which ones they found appealing.  The Vision 110+1 and the Strike King KVD 300 Deep both in perch pattern, was my answer. Day ended on a high note as I got to handle & hang a 6 lb bronze beauty on the scale.
