I'm looking for a crankbait blank and found the liberty rod blanks for 40$ on sale. I am looking at the 7'3" medium/heavy moderate for 8-12ft divers. I was wondering if any one has felt/used these blanks?

    I looked closer and it is a 3.6oz would this be a little heavy for a blank of this length/application

    Your fishing tip down, and will have quite a resitance trying to raise the rod tip back up, you may have to use force to keep it down.
