I'm probably buying a Pond Prowler this afternoon from a local guy nearby, and I know the Hull ID Number on it, but can somebody point me to the information on how to find out when it was made, etc.? I'm not sure how to decipher the number itself, and this boat has apparently never been titled. I called DNR this morning, and it may be possible for us to register it for the first time if I get the Bill of Sale filled out correctly.

 

I have a Sun Dolphin Sportsman that I know how to read, but I'm not sure about this Pond Prowler, and I sure will appreciate any information anybody can point me to. Thanks!

Hull ID numbers have to follow a certain format - reading the Pond Prowler's number is the same as the Sportsman...or my Scout SS (also a Sun Dolphin)

The month-year of my Scout is E717 - so May 2017 was the production date and it's a 2017 model.

hey i bought a pond prowler a couple months ago an i cant find where the hull information is can you point me in the right direction.
