Saw an advertisement for this new Reelers Shield sunscreen. Looks like it’s in a deodorant tube?  Anyone ever tried it? It looks intriguing!

I have used it and loved it.  It went on dry and did not get my hands all greasy.  I used it for my face, neck, and ears and the little stick made it easy to apply.  I have also seen a good deal of tour anglers using it.  They definitely seem to focus on fishing in their marketing as well.

How is it specific for fisherman?

There are other brands that also rely on clear zinc oxide as the primary ingredient. It isn't white like the old lifeguard's nose paste because they use some variety of nanoparticles.
