I’ve used braid to leader for jig fishing 95% of the time. But the more I read and the more folks I talk to it seems like more people use just straight braid. So I thought I’d ask the fine folks at Bass Resource what their opinions are. If I don’t need to waste the time and energy tying leaders I def don’t want to.

I only throw jigs with straight braid in vegetation, and I put a drop of super glue on the knot just in case.

Probably really depends on the type of waters you're fishing in. The main lakes I fish are deep reservoirs in California. Some with clearer waters. Braid to leader is how I fish jigs 99.9% of the time. The other .01%, I fish straight braid when I go to the Cal Delta.
