trolling motor

Featured Replies

just wondering what you guys might think is wrong with my trolling motor......the thing is that when i use it when i go to the right it works fine but when i go straight it wont work at all and when i go to the left you have to be like almost going in reverse for it to work. just wondering what you guys have experienced and wonder if you had any ideas what it might be.

Bad wiring with some bad/corroded contacts.  Try taking the top housing unit apart and see if you can determine the problem.  How old is the unit?
