I got the Navionics hot map explorer which is nice, but where do most of you guys get your maps from?  

I get paper maps at BPS or Academy in the Houston area.

Are they high quality?  Do you like them?  I've been looking for a quality paper map.

They are Navionics maps. About as detailed as any others.

the maps i have goten from BPS are very useful.  Just remember that the maps r based on the highest water level and when u use the map u must adjust accordingly.   And they r water proof!

In Virginia we are very fortunate that we have GMCO, a mapping company that has excellent maps of the various lakes and rivers.

Otherwise, the guys have it right...Bass Pro Shops or local tackle shops will have local maps.
