Anyone tryed these?

I've never personally used that toad, but have been with a friend many times when he was using it.  He just fished it like you would any other toad.  On top of the pads, buzzed on the surface or just under the surface.  Trig it weightless with a 4/0 hook.

I would just rig it weedless and toss onto moss piles, slop, and other weedy areas that u cant go wrong with.

I've had luck on Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley with them.  I usually rig them with a glass bead above the hook with a 1/2 ounce Tungsten bullet weight above that.  The largest I've caught on them was a 9 1/2 pounder post spawn in the middle of last month.  It was around 6pm and I was fishing the old river channel on Kentucky Lake.  That's my main experience with them to speak of.  I've caught various sized Largemouth in shallow areas with them around lilly pads, and cat tails but nothing larger than 4 pounds.
