What is the best colors for lizards and jitterbugs? I have heard good things with these baits and want to start fishing with them. Thanks for the info.

I use black or dark green and sometimes a rust red in certain areas for lizards.  The jitterbug I usually go with is solid black.

For soft plastics, such as lizards, I always suggest trying watermelon, green pumpkin and black.  These three colors will catch bass anywhere they live.

For jitterbugs, a solid black jitterbug is a great bait.

It all depends on water clarity.

For clear water I always fish natural colors, and sometimes I fish metal flake.  

For murky / muddy water I fish bright or black.

For tinted I fish bright, black, or natural.
