First topwater bite

Featured Replies

Today was pretty rainy and cloudy. Past two days were 95-100 plus degrees. Went out today in the morning fished a jig had a couple bites but nothing big. Decided to try a topwater toad buzzbait out in the rain earlier and landed two solid hogs. First one being the biggest. Now I can say I’ve caught a bass on a topwater lure. ?

Sweet catch on a top.

I remember my first topwater bite. Full moon night, reeling

a jitterbug across the middle of a pond and BANG! Quite the

adrenaline rush, eh?
