I love fishing jigs, and when Megastrike came out with the Evolution jig I was very excited to get my hands on some...until I saw the price tag, I couldn't justify spending $10 for only 2 jigs. But now I have found a place where I can get em for a whole lot cheaper and I am wondering if they are any good or are they just another jig with a lot of hype?

I bought some about a month ago. I think they were just another hyped up lure. I've done no better on them then i have booyah boo jigs, and plus they get snagged a lot easier.

I've had an Evolution Jig tied on one of my rods for the last three weeks. It has caught fish everytime out. No problems with snagging here. :-? Caught a nice 3.5 lber last weekend. So far it's been worth about $1.50 per fish (if you don't count all the pickerel too!)  Works for me, so I'll use it!

If this is the same jig you are talking about, they are on clearance at BPS for $4.88.

I was also at a local BPS last weekend and they had a TON of them in stock at this price as well.
